My name is Sam and I want to tell you stories.

I have been fascinated with the human experience and the history of different cultures ever since my first backpacking trip when I was 18. This fascination led me into an education in political science and history so I could better understand our world and its people.

Some Places I Have Traveled

Western Europe
This was my first backpacking trip. My buddy and I hopped around a few countries. I personally enjoyed Greece and Denmark.

Southeast Asia
I spent a few months in Thailand and Vietnam. It was in Saigon where I experienced culture shock for the first time.

Australia
I lived in Melbourne for six months while taking part in a study abroad program.
